I had a brief look and walked away together but something told me to go back. Whilst speaking with the elderly lady I mentioned I'd been in the forces and we got chatting. Her late husband was a Major in 22 SAS. This was one of his jackets. It is of 1968 pattern origin. It's very similar to the pull over sand coloured type with the addition of a zip. Out of respect I did not ask his name. A great end to a nice day . The label is very faint but has the heading Smock Windproof. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
