If you want to or you want someone else to understand the horrors of war, this is the film you should watch. Very gut wrenching for me as they are lads who are hundreds of miles from home, removing lamdmines from the West Coast of Denmark. The film is based off the time post-war in Denmark when the Danes had thousands of German POWs, majority teenagers, to remove 2.2 million landmines by hand , of all varieties from the West Coast of Denmark. This particular film focuses on 14 Teenage Germans who have to remove 40,000 land mines from a stretch of beach.
