Satan1800 Posted February 16, 2016 Share Posted February 16, 2016 I know it's not a military model but I am now trustee of my late fathers ships that he built over a forty year span ,and total in number 8 ships and I now display three of them within my military museum. The cutty Sark ,followed by the Danmark, With theThermopylae,and unfortunately he was to ill to finish two more hulls that he started of the cutty Sark again and Hms Victory,but will take them.on one day 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Davejb Posted February 23, 2016 Share Posted February 23, 2016 Ship building is one of the hardest modelling projects to do IMO, Ive had to remake a model schooner twice after accidents by dropping the thing, each time the masts broke plus the rigging, the brass rail pieces and rudder, its in the loft now and thats where it will stay until I can find room for it, it stands at 3. 1/2 feet tall and 30 inches long, the ones your dad made are excellent 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
