Norrie
Been aboard this cracking museum ship twice now,and still not seen all of her. For anyone that is old enough to remember, the Midway was the carrier on the TV news at the evacuation of Vietnam, ( 1972) where they were throwing Huey helicopters over the side....so a Vietnamese army officer and his family in a wee aircraft could land on the deck....:) I'm back in a few weeks, to visit her, and the USS Iowa..a Missouri class battleship....:) Entry is/was $10, a great cheap day out...:) Edited August 12, 2016 by Norrie
