German hat makers of the Third Reich and distributors

I thought I would post some of the German Hat/cap makers and their distributors, it may help some of the members who may start to collect German caps, These are not all of the makers out there but some of the more frequently seen, I hope it proves useful.

A dalbert Breiter..................Munchen

Albert  Schweizer................Beyreuth

Alhers Tradition..................Potsdam

Alfred Valet.........................Bad Connstadt

Alois Kattinger....................Wein

Aloyse Mies(Almi)..............Koblenz

August Muller....................Munchen (heavily faked)

August Schanze................Burg  bm

August Schellenberg.........Berlin (may differ on labels) (faked)

Bennewite.........................Wurzen Am markt

Beste Qualitat...................Unknown

Bleyer Uniformhaus..........Luneberg

C.Lois Weber....................Hannover

Carl Baugert.....................Koblenz

Carl Bulow & Sohn...........Podejuch

Carl Halfar........................Berlin

Carl Isken.........................Koln

If there are any more that someone wishes to add then please do so, these are a selection which I have had on lists over the years, but I am sure there are many more.

Thanks for the list but it is virtually useless if their assigned RZM numbers also are not listed.  Also, as the war progressed Officers and NCO were authorized to contract with tailors bypassing RZM licensed tailors.  Some of the contracted tailors sometimes were in Belgium and other Nazi "protected" conquered countries.  Mr. Salis has attempted as an added section to one of his newer books regarding.

By all mean, IF you know the RZM numbers then please add them in, this was a general list as a rough guide
