My Reproduction 1860 Colt army

I recently just got back into my possession, one of my black powder pistols, for the last 10 years have not had or been able to even shoot due to a legal issue (long story, no Im not a bad guy, lol, a good guy that had a bad lawyer!) Anyhoo,  my brother in law has been holding this for me and I just got it back and am VERY happy to have it again! The Italians make some great reproduction historical, and shootable firearms! This is my 5th Pistole from the F.LLI Pietta company. My first was back in the early 80's. They now have made it so easy to shoot these with the premeasured powder pellets and pre lubed wads. they are also quite inexpensive, though the rifles can go for up to $600/$700(us). This one I have shot several times and is fairly accurate. It is a dead ringer for the original and feels great in the hand. The gunfighter, John Wesley Hardin always carried an 1860 colt in his possession.

They are fun to shoot. I haven't had the pleasure of owning a rifle but will have one soon. I had an 1851 Navy and 2 other '60 Colts but long gone now. I have also had some issues with the Pyrodex, I havent noticed anything yet with the pellets but I havent used many so time will tell.
