Guest Fred Karno's Army
A new item to go into the display for next year is this scrap album which was the property of Robert Devlin RN Submarine service. He took the surrender of German Uboats and was part of the Dover patrol. Some fascinating photographs and items he had taken from the submarines even a piece of 100 year old seaweed !. Unfortunately he was killed in WW2 in a Sunderland crash in Plymouth harbour.

Davejb
I have to say that is a very historic piece of WW1 German submarine warfare, and not many documents exist of this type in private collections
Guest Fred Karno's Army
I really need to take the time and go through it all, there is also a bag of loose photographs and paperwork. We close the museum in a few weeks for winter so it will give me time to take a breath !. Not for long though lol.
