Desert Rat
Hello, I have the chance to buy this WW2 German Field Telephone....But no nothing about it, it seems in very good condition. I just wondered if this a rare item and what would be the price to buy it for? All answers from the Communications Team or anyone would be appreciated. Thank you for you advice and knowledge....Desert Rat/ Ian

Alperator
Hagenuk = Hanseatic apparatus construction company Neufeld and Kunke Hanseatische Apparatebaugesellschaft Neufeld und Kunke Handset capsule and connection cable is not original. The rest, however, is very nicely stamped and also in a very nice and good condition, if the price fits - buy. Original receiver capsule and connection cable are available for purchase and are easy to replace.

val
@Desert Rat - that phone is overpriced in current condition and you need also make some expenses to replace non-original parts. Point those issues to the seller and ask better price.
Desert Rat
Hello Val, Thanks your advice, to be honest it's going to be too much for me pricewise, but I will try and get his price down...? Best to you....Ian
val
@Desert Rat : https://www.nonstopsystems.com/radio/pdf-hell/article-Feldfernsprecher33.pdf "Current prices range from $60 to $125 with some being offered for the ridiculous prices of $200 and up" Of course this document goes back some years and also does not reflect that some manufacturer phones are rarer, but it gives you some price range to consider.

Telegraphentruppe
Hello Ian, I can only confirm what Albert und Val said. Only one word about the price. It`s like Val wrote some maker were rare (and expensive) in opposite to others) But normal used common maker FF 33 will be sold in germany from 50€ upside and the shipping costs to UK were around 20€. So I will say for 100€ plus shipping you will get a nice piece. 200 is more then expensive.. Best regards from germany Roger

Richard Auld
Ian, I can sort you one out for a fair price or trade, I have too many! Lots of them today are post war used, we even had a couple still working on Range 4 in Bergen up to the early 2000s, Rich

Richard Auld
Fair enough Ian, that is about 5 times the asking over here for something similar. It is the carrying strap that is rocking horse shti! Edited March 12, 2019 by Richard Auld
