Is the blade bent? or is it the photo, just curious

Well, I am no expert Tony, but it maybe where the person who owned and used it during his fighting days sharpened it up on a stone,  and later another collector who bought it 😉decided to sharpen it up a bit....possibly using a bench grinder to do it?

Look' s good to me anyway.

Tony blade is fine , optical illusion from the flash I think. I see what you mean though!

If I remember right , we found a saw back, when we did the TV programme  at a weapons dispersal  area in England of all places, no handle and it was rusty, but still looking nasty
