kriegsfunker
One of 5 available. How do you get just one of these, much less FIVE? https://www.ebay.com/itm/German-WWII-Artillery-5-Meter-Coastal-Rangefinder/300584834425?epid=1332347337&hash=item45fc409579:g:JRIAAOSwU91aXnV2
Funksammler
I guess they bought them in bulk from the Finish Army in a surplus auction. The Finish army held on to masses of WW2 era equipment for quite a long time. For this reason you can find some of the best preserved airborne radio and radar equipment in Finish museums. It looks like these particular rangefinders were built in France during the German occupation for the Finish army. Being a "Hohenentfernungsmesser" it is a piece of anti aircraft equipment. Describing it as a German coastal artillery rangefinder is disingenuous as it is neither German nor for coastal artillery... These have been advertised for many years now, they are not as desirable as German made equipment and far too bulky to be of interest to the majority of collectors. regards, Funksammler
