Nice buckles, do you have close ups of tabs of the Reicsheer buckles, any makers and dates?

Also interesting to see a tab on the Feurwehr...

Will make some pictures, I think one of the reichswehr is unit marked on the leather too, IR77 which is local here (Celle). I have more in the box (see picture) I will sort it and post them up.

Can't see any markings on the actual buckles but then I am half blind now, Iwill look more closely after this block of nights.

Val, no none of mine are Russian done, I dont't think! The Germans also used them post war and I believe De-Nazified them in the PW cage as they probably had a lot of time on their hands and not a lot of buckles to hold their trousers up? I am sure most lost weight and would have been in need of a functional belt and buckle?

I am sure I posted some of mine on there under 'Jock Auld' or 'Dinger Bell' before I was banned on those user names.

One seems to be absolutely mint - second row in the middle.

Show it more closely?

It has pissed down with rain all day, I will do some pics when I can. I am having a Guinness now and quite honestly can't be arsed to go up to the attic, I need to dry out and chill out!

Best

Best do it now as I am back to work tomorrow!

Maker on the tab is H-ARLD from Nuernberg, 1941, no markings that I can see on the buckle?!

Emil Juttner, Ludenscheid... One of the more elusive and hard if I may say rare to turn up, I have never seen one with a tab attached..
