My favourite 'spork'

Guys,

This has just had so much work done to it, it must have been very important to someone!

Rivets at the spoon end, fork gone.

Perhaps a POW or forced labourer where you need to eat to survive? Who knows??

It has character though!

Thanks for the images Rich,

I have seen these before and generally made by POW's....of any Country!

But what this could tell if you had the history with it?

Anyway......Great personal item for a collection and made by someone?

Best to you......Desert Rat/ Ian

Ian,

It is a standard issue German Army 'spork' that has has a hard life. It has been repaired by someone which might indicate they did not have access to what would have been a pretty common item or mabye it was just their lucky spoon? Who knows!
