Desert Rat
Hello Funks, Thanks for the images, is this just by the (I think the US Museum) by the rond point / roundabout above the entrance to Omaha Cemetery. And do you know when it is on this year as I hope to visit it.....as I do every year to Normandy. Many Thanks and best to you Edited June 18, 2019 by Desert Rat correction to text
Funksammler
The photographs of the exhibition were taken at the Vierville D-day museum, while the photographs with the German tanks were taken at the Overlord museum in Colleville (at the cemetery roundabout). My part of the exhibition is now over, it was just during the D-day week so if you wish the see the collection you will have to come and visit me. Get in touch via PM once you know the dates of your visit and we'll arrange something... regards, Funksammler
Desert Rat
Many Thanks Funk, Yes I thought it was there, I am not sure when I am coming to Normandy probably in September on my back from Frejus. It would be very interesting to see it though, I will send you a message when I am in Normandy and grateful Thanks for your kind offer. Best Wishes....Desert Rat/ Ian

However - how did you organized all the logistics? Logistics were the biggest issue. It determined what kind of equipment and how much I could take. All the equipment was hauled in one load of my car + trailer. The trailer was rather overloaded, but I got it there and back! I also had some help to ensure we had 24/7 cover at the exhibition. Slept (or rather tried to sleep) in the tent for five nights. When I finally did get to sleep, got woken up by some idiot bugler blowing reveille at sunrise. Some reenactors just take it too far...;-) regards, Funksammler
