Norrie
Just back home after a week in Nottingham, looking for cra....stuff for the collection, oh, and visiting family too...:) Anyway, out at the local car boot today, and bought a few things, needs new grips, ( no worries there), its a theatre cut down, 1907 Lee Enfield Hooked Quillion British bayonet....cut down to be used as a trench knife, and marked to the 3rd ? Kings Own Scottish Borderers....I am contemplating doing a cold blue on it, once the new grips get here...any thoughts?? The seller had other cut downs, marked to the Royal Scots and Black watch..all genuine, and in great condition....but they were ( for me right now) too expensive....at £20, I think I got a bargain with this one tho......:) A wee bit of trench art... a 1943 British Fuze box.. and 3 WW2 dated ( incl D Day) newspapers.... Spent £38 in total...:) Great wee day...:)

Best to you....Ian Thanks Ian, the bayo seller had a few cut downs from WW1, and every one was amazing...price tho on those was a tad out my realm, especially after a rather expensive week in the Midlands...:) BTW, The bayo is stamped to The Kings Own Shropshire Infantry, and NOT the KOSB's....got more info this afternoon...:) Cheers.
