Desert Rat
Hello Kap, Welcome to MCN, great images and items. Same as Rich, never seen the yellow one before....can you explain please? Or is it Air Raid patrol helmet? Best to you....Desert Rat
kap
Hi. The yellow ones: Both are used by Norwegian civic and air defence. The M31, baltic helmet until 45. And the german M35 from about 1948, when a large amount of german helmets was put into military or civic use in Norway. 1

Richard Auld
Looks like a new liner and chin strap was issued during the 'refurbishment'? Rich
kap
Liner is original but drawstring and chinstrap is postwar. And it looks like the liner never was out and that the shell was painted only on the outside+skirt. The helmet has the original feltgrau in the dome and the washers are in place. So if it had a stamp it will be visible. I'll get back to you with more info when I know.
