Daniel Posted February 24, 2016 Share Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) if you are close to Columbus Ohio stop at Mott's Military museum it's awesome they have stuff from 1776, Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam war, Desert Storm, NASA, POW Exhibit, Tuskegee airmen, 9/11 artifacts, Special Exhibits: Medal of Honor Recipient Ronald E. Rosser, General Paul Tibbets, Captain Eddie Rickenbacker, and The Tuskegee Airmen. The Motts Military Museum displays the largest collection of Gen. Tibbets memorabilia including his full dress blue Air Force Brigadier General uniform Medals and much more. they have allot of Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker stuff. They have the nation’s second largest collection of Holocaust memorabilia and the world’s second largest collection of artifacts from 9/11—both the World Trade Center in NYC and the Pentagon. The Motts Military Museum contains an extensive Civil War collection with many one-of-a-kind items. The Museum also exhibits one of the finest Civil War Medical Collections in the country. The Motts Military Museum exhibits a comprehensive World War One collection and highlights many items from flying Ace, Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker including a full-scale replica of the home in which he was raised. corn cob pipe belonged to General Douglas MacArthur. 105mm artillery piece was captured from Iraqi troops by the 82nd Airborne Division and donated to the Museum.
