Desert Rat Posted October 30, 2020 Share Posted October 30, 2020 (edited) Just thought this image may interest those members that collect or used to, these deadly air dropped steel darts from WW1, they were dropped box fulls at a time maybe 100 - 500? from wooden boxes by the navigator over enemy trenches,used on all sides. They would penetrate any steel helmet and pierce the skull......Terrible injuries if not killed immediately. Very small weapons, all different designs, weights etc......But very deadly!
