geostoria Posted December 22, 2019 Share Posted December 22, 2019 U.S. Civil War Noncommissioned Officers (NCO) Sword with scabbard – named Sword marker marked Ames MFG Co. Chicopee Mass on one side of blade ricasso and U.S. A.H.C. 1862 on the other side of the ricasso. Name scratched in the scabbard leather and on the sword the initials scratched into handle guard.
