I'm working on a new video about Fbg.bf
I've found two rados it can be used on.
It's Torn.Fu.b1 and 15W.S.E.b
I believe that Torn.Fu.b1 used by reconnaissance units.
But what was 15W.S.E.b used for when remote control device was used?
Please tell me more about how Fbg.bf was used.

The Fbg.bf was ideal for forward observers, so it was mostly used with the Torn.Fu.f and Torn.Fu.k in artillery units. It could of course be used with the Torn.Fu.b1, which was mainly used in infantry units, but the tactical use was slightly different, so I guess it was not used too often with the Torn.Fu.b1. Likewise with the 15 W.S.E.a/b will not have been used too often by forward observers. So yes, several types of radios were designed to work with the Fbg.bf but for the majority its use was with the Torn.Fu.f/k in artillery units.

This was interesting.
Must test out a Torn.Fu.f with remote control box.
So it was mostly used by artillery forward observers.
The use of the 15W.S.E.a remote control may have been that the radio was
mounted in a vehicle and the operator was located in a nearby house ???
What do you think?

Could be, but in most cases the 15 W.S.E.a was used by the Nachtrichten Abteilungen for communication with the rearward units, most of this traffic would have been performed in CW. In this case a Ftg Ferntastgerät (as opposed to a Fernbesprechung) would have been used. The distance over which the Fbg.bf can be used (50 m + another 50m with the extension cable) is rather limited, while a Ftg can be used up to 2km away. My only explanation for the compatibility requirement for the 15 W.S.E was that (since it overlaps in frequency with the Torn.Fu.b1 and f) it would have been envisaged as a long range spotter radio for heavy artillery, but I can find no evidence in the KStN's that it was used in that way. Heavy artillery units were issued with the Torn.Fu.f/k so I guess the range of the standard set was deemed sufficient.
