James AL Posted June 4, 2020 Share Posted June 4, 2020 (edited) Hiya, I've had this medal in my collection for about four months and during my research can only find medals similar to it. I don't actually know what it is. The writing on it looks like an East Asian language and it is dated '1951' on both the observe and reverse. As some of you may know this is the time of the Korean war, however it does not look like any western/allied decoration I have ever seen. I belive it is Chinese as it looks very similar to their other medals from the Korean war with the same colour scheme and ribbon design. Any help in identifying it would be greatly appreciated.
