REMEMBRANCE DAY..........2020......DON'T FORGET...!!!

In the last days of the most Brutal world conflict that mankind had ever faced “The Great War” and “The War to End all Wars”came to it's final bestial, bloodthirsty and devastating conclusion on the 11th hour, of the 11 month, of November 1918.
Mankind was left in utter turmoil as to what the future would bring, but those left behind would ensure that those who's numbers are well in excess of 9, 000, 000, who were killed in...”The First World War.”...Would Never be Forgotten!
This, the most unforgettable year for all mankind 1914, would become a marked year in man's history that would without question be remembered for many, many generations to come, as the most horrific, bloodthirsty and destructive time of war, that took all their loved ones to an unforgivable, unimaginable slaughter and to their deaths!
Never, in it's history, had mankind ever faced such a terrible bloody slaughter of a generation of  “boys”who in their innocence fought for King and country, who would never return home, for they lie to this day in graves scattered across hundreds of square miles around the world, all that is remembered of them is a white cross or headstone in thousands of cemeteries where they now lie buried.
There are those tens, if not hundreds of thousands who's bodies were never found, who were literally blown to pieces by shell-fire and underground mines, or swallowed up and drowned in water filled trenches and craters.
Those living today had grand-parents, friends, brothers and fathers, are all remembered on this day as the ones, who in the youth of their generation gave the “Ultimate Sacrifice” so that those left behind, the grieving and devastated families and their families thereafter, and for generations to come, could live in a free, peaceful, tranquil world.
On the bloody battlefields as - The Somme, Passchendaele, Arras, Ypres, Chemin de Dames, Verdun, Le Cateau, Lens, Vimy Ridge, Messines Ridge, and far away from home Gallipoli, the list is unbelievably endless but remain steadfast in our minds today, where all these loyal “boys”came to rest in a carnage of agony, suffering, pain and death.

They remain in our thoughts and hearts, just as the poet Rupert Brooke in one of his poems tells us - “If I should die, think only this of me, that there's some corner of a Foreign field, that is Forever England”...that is where they are remembered today...at peace, in sleep, in death, far from the fearsome horror and terror that they all faced and suffered so atrociously before they expired and fell asleep in death during the terrible conflict of 1914 - 1918.

But the “Second World War”, from 1939 – 1945, was soon to follow nearly 20 years later, and would become even more unimaginable for its own brutality, evil, destruction, horror and devastation that would again encompass the world.
Not only with the terror and horror of the “Death Camps” and the millions who were gassed and worked to death there.

To the most horrific weapon ever invented and was used to kill over 250, 000/300, 000 innocent people of Japan...The Atomic Bomb and the Hydrogen bomb.
From the four corners of the earth the war ravaged countries, continents and islands, bringing the unbelievable and colossal amount of people killed to about 90, 000, 000!!! Since that time there has been many war's that have ravaged mankind since 1945 all around the globe, that have killed  hundreds of thousands of men and women who have served their country so loyally and who have given their lives, they will be without doubt on this day November 11th, 2020. ..ALL of those killed Will be Remembered...All around the United Kingdom in every village, town and city there are memorials to the fallen dead of the Two World Wars – and those wars thereafter that continue down to our day. And throughout all the Commonwealth Countries, the United States, Asia, Africa... the soldiers that fought and died...In Both World Wars....Will be Remembered...!!!

Many thousands will gather at these and stand in silence, with their own personal thoughts and tears of a lost loved one and loved ones, of friends, sister's, brother's, father's, wives and boyfriends who were killed so long ago and those killed in recent years and months of wars that continue today. Yes, we today live in relative peace and tranquillity, due to the ultimate sacrifice of their lives of the many millions in all the wars, and we should uphold their sacrifice with Honour, Humility and Grateful Thanks and Remember those “Who Sacrificed Their Lives For Us All”
