At one time you could get these for about 10 quid at any good militaria shops,and they were in pretty good condition, and with the internal balls, but as time goes by they are getting harder to find in good shape and prices are getting higher and higher, I wonder how much they will cost in 5/6 years time or will they become a rare item and the only way to afford one will be to get a replica, I use to know a guy who made the handles for these to sell and they were very hard to tell the difference from the real ones, but he made a good living out of it

I remember the good ol days. You could get a real M35 with the decals for $50/$75 now they have the prices jacked up over $1000, makes it hard to collect anymore. My 1st 2 M24's I ever had, got them in the late '70's from the vet, still had the deactivated fuses and all, paid $25 for the pair, the 2 I posted above, at the end probably set me back close to $500. its crazy.
