Guys,

you don't often get both to one person. Not fancy but a few unusual entries to Vets Park and Signals park, some sort of technician or maybe blacksmith?

Thats interesting, it has a Detmold stamp on it, The Detmold barracks are still there, which was a Panzer Barracks in the war, and I think some of them there were SS, I went there as a young lad in the Army Cadet Force and stayed there for 2 weeks, The old bloke on the gate house was in the SS as a young man

Dave, in this case Detmold was purely his mustering point he went on to be posted to 2 Coy Infantry Replacement Battalion 444, then he pinged off to other units.
