Looks like someone has been playing with wax on scrap paper? Have you found anything about the unit on Lexicon der Wehrmacht?

I have serious doubts about that stamp originality.

This paper is type of the punch card, they were meant to be machine

processable. That stamp would seriously prevent that.

And card itself...very well preserved for ww2 era.

This one is from 1975. Compare.

Hi, and thank you. The stamp itself was found by a member of XXX Corps British Army during 1944. The card is of no consequence. The finder kept the stamp and used it after the war to seal personal papers.
