Aeronut
I bought this medal in the Middle East a long time ago. This is the condition I purchased it in, but in spite of trying I have never been able to find another like it or information about what country it is from and what it was awarded for. I had forgotten about it until recently and am now working to figure this thing out. I believe the writing is either Arabic or Farsi. If anyone can translate that it would be helpful. A jeweller said that the ruby's are natural with the exception of one. We assume the tourqoise is Persian and could not identify the three white pieces at the top but are fairly certain they aren't diamonds. The jeweller did not have the chemicals to test the metal but I believe it's silver. Any information for figuring out this mystery would be great!
