edteach
I found this one for about a hundred more. I posted it on WAF and seems to be a lot less controversial. I forgot the eagle close up
Richard Auld
I do like the look of it. I like the wear on the high points, like on the pocket in your last picture where you can see the weave of the cloth, I know they are doing that too now but it is hard to do to a whole jacket. I like that the eagle is sewn onto the jacket but not through the lining. There is normally an inside pocket on the left side and the lining of the arms tends to be cheaper material, typically pin stripe flannel? This is the thing with Officer stuff, anything is possible. Couple of moth nips? It is what it is? If this is 1500 it is still a lot of money but I would sleep better. Best Rich

Richard Auld
Sorry, I am not being critical just thinking out loud if you want? If I had to buy this from its pictures then I would sleep ok. I am just trying to qualify why I feel the way I do. I can give it thumbs up if I can find the icon thing... Best Rich
Richard Auld
The only error is of course the EK2 ribbon on the button hole and on the bar but even the Germans made mistakes... Rich

Davejb
I like this one, and as you say there is no controversial parts to it, moth nips , you will find that on most items of that age, but to me these are not bad, I have seen more on other tunics, and for the price, you are getting more for your buck, and a safer buy

I sent the other one back. I am afraid I had to do a CC dispute on that one. The seller has not contacted me since I said It was going back. My tracking shows it was delivered a few days ago. But this one has a good feel to it in hand. Nice but not too much wear, The one thing is its a size 34 chest so I am having a time finding a mannequin for it.
