This is a pattern 1913 bayonet as fitted to the British P13 and P14 rifles as well as the US Model of 1917, made under contract in the USA. This particular example is marked Remington under a date of 16 12 1913 as the pattern. On the other side is imperial inspection stamp and broadarrow and bend test stamps. The blade is lightly parkarised with a light patina to the steel, perfect point, the blade shows signs of sharpening to the edge, nicely blacked ricassos. Excellent grips and release button, with signs of light corrosion to pommel and crossguard. Good sound oval frog-stud scabbard with RE for Remington stamped on one side and a W stamped into the leather, shows some corrosion to the steel parts.   A great addition to any WW1 P14 or M17. £80 plus p&p
