It's a shame the fella said he wanted to bring the plane off the seabed, personally I believe it's a grave for the brave servicemen of WW2.

I,m wondering if its still classed as a war grave, seeing theres no evidence found of bodies, they could have swam away and got lost in poor visibility and been lost at sea,I think a great deal more research into the crews fate needs to be looked at, What puzzles me is the sword , normally only senior officers would have a carry piece like this, and I doubt if a crew member would have taken one on board, Strange that they did,nt show the cap.

Reading the article, seems like the pilot made a controlled landing, removed footwear suggests they swam for it. I'd say it's not a grave, raise it...

That's not a sword holder, it's from a rucksack....
