I've had a few Lugers over the years, shot them live when we could do that, and as for the deacts, once I dry fire them a few times, strip them, etc. etc. they just sit on my desk. I traded a lovely example along with a P-38 for a really nice Les Paul guitar a year or so back, and was happy to do so.. Lugers come and go, but sweet Les Pauls are hard to find. Guest Fred Karno's Army Posted March 15, 2016 Share Posted March 15, 2016 (edited) Fondly remember shooting my fathers DWM 1917 dated Luger,the only ammo it would cycle was Isreali manufactured , and I couldn't hit a bloody thing with it lol. .
