Hello from a Newbie in Alabama

I’m a retired government contractor from Fort Rucker. I was an active duty Marine from the mid to late 70s. I collect militaria from the Spanish-American War thru Vietnam. My largest collection is WW2. I enjoy military history, and have a lot of references material.

    high quality of ss totenkopfring

As many here know, I made a copy of Sepp Dietrich's ring (from photographs). The model of the ring from 1937, which I also produce, was taken as the basis. I took the ring and repeated all the details of the ring, including the smallest ones. I also copied the skull, I showed them here earlier - a comparison of what I received (a copy of Sepp Dietrich's ring) and photographs of the original ring. But then I received a photo from the new owner (I was familiar with the new owner of this mega rarity) - 3 photos and one angle was very good, so as to make minor changes to my skull model, and now I’m showing a comparison of the new edition of the skull, from Dietrich’s ring . I want to clarify that it is against my rules to make copies from a photo, but this ring will never be in my hands for copying, so I made a copy from a photo (there were good angles of this ring)))

Perhaps you could find some dates on the microphone or ear speaker if the covers can be unscrewed like the German handset?
  24. Not really my area but as a general rule of thumb I thought all HBT were considered work/maintenance garments, even the assault artillery ones that seem to fetch a lot of money? I think I have a 4 pocket normal green one I can post when I can get into the attic.

  26. Guys, as stated above. You some times you really have to look hard to see the fault or crack etc, but both are fairly obvious on this occasion. Cheep and cheerful...
