Norrie
Hiya, Managed to get this little WW1 Soldiers Diary off the bay...for a steal...:) Advertised as WW2, but I thought better of it... Anyway, the 2nd owner is a Lt JC Hernan (?) of 119 Sqdn, at Duxford, theirs very little info online about them, except that they were a light bomber sqdn, in training, and never became operational, being disbanded in 1918. Anyone know anything about the Sqdn...?? I was going to contact Duxford, but TBH, their website steers you away from contact.... The original owner, poss also an I C Hernan (?) was with the 59th Public Recruiting/Recruitment Board att to the South Wales Borderers , at Kinmel Camp in Wales. A massive camp, and still for me to research. Most of this info, came via @FredKarnosArmy....Paul has been a mine of information...but thats as far as I can gather... Any help in this would be very much appreciated. 1
