Manu Della Valle
WW2 German footwear is still an obscure matter to many collectors.Having focused on WW2 German footwear for decades and owned a HUGE collection with up to 300(yes,three hundred) pairs I think I know a thing or two in the subject and I'd like to share them with you, posting threads on several styles of low and high boots, including obscure and ersatz styles. The first is a pair of M37 Schnurschuhe found near Bologna many years ago. It's 1945-dated,beautifully made,in great shape and retains its original natural leather color. This early type of M37 Lowboot has a mix of grommets and hooks but lacks the black-red-black inner web loops to hel putting the boots on and that were discontinued early in 1941. Hope youy'll enjoy! DAK D
Hi Manu, That is one great pair of late German ankle boots and considering they were manufactured in 1945 they are still made to a very high standard. You once had 300 pairs of boots wow and you still have 40 pairs in your collection! D

D Hi Dermot, they are still beautifully made this late in the War!Yes,I had gathered more than 300 pairs in all conditions, mostly good to mint, but sold them along the years, even if I kept looking for them!Forty are more than enough my friend, especially when I consider that many collectors don't have ONE pair of genuine boots!
