Davejb Posted April 9, 2016 Share Posted April 9, 2016 They were also used on the beaches of Normandy, they were placed on top of the wooden poles designed to rip out the hulls of landing craft, but with a twist. Davejb Posted April 11, 2016 Share Posted April 11, 2016 Seeing these were designed solely to take out vehicles, it makes sense to cammo them for ground insertion in case they become exposed , they would be hard to spot while driving a truck or armoured vehicle, and a soldier could walk right over them without detonation unless he weighed 200lb or more, I daresay Goering would have had a hard time 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
