Davejb Posted April 16, 2016 Share Posted April 16, 2016 He was totally off the wall but hilarious, his film about his war service was bonkers and he played his own father and Jim Dale played him, I still have,nt read his books though.. My two other favourites were Tommy Cooper and Norman Wisdom, I met Norman on a TV set, he pulled up in a Rolls, got out, walked a few steps then did his tripping routine, everyone was in stitches, later on he did his shadow boxing gag because he said he was bored, My sides hurt so much I could,nt concentrate for the rest of the shoot that day 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
