ahrtal
Yes, I had to have it. Slave workers forgot to put in the two tront washers for the liner pin, but remembered the rear one. Lots o' blood rust on exterior, and some on leather, but condition of the paint indicate the owner only wore it for a short time before his demise. Davejb
Thats a cracking looking M42, the liner is damn good despite the "blood" stain and I suspect it was worn for a while actually, due to the slight stretching of the liner finger holes,it takes a bit of time for the leather to stretch on a newer liner like that, but its one thing I like to see on liners
adlermilitaria
Its a nice honest M42, seen the war and seen a soldiers head. The reality of war is death unfortunately and items like this tell a much more intriguing story about the reality of war. I have a M42 for sale from the rarest shell maker BVL M42 - last run of the M42 and its badly blood stained. Does it mean its a bad thing? No because when people look at it they think what hell war is... Items that speak to collectors and enthusiasts alike...
