pylon1357
This reminds me of the 2 bullets that 'hit in mid-air'.

Hi Bry, My mate reckons these can be genuine as the projectile made from chilled-steel making it harder than the armour. You can see how the armour peels back where the proj smashed in. PmMeYourCats
Aye some of them are real I bet but it's one of those things that you see so often. Regardless of it's state I still want one.
Major General Waffenamt Posted February 16, 2016 Major General Share Posted February 16, 2016 The projectile ive pictured earlier is a belter. Comes from a world class collector pal. Wartime dated too. yum! If i was a 17 pounder collector then i would be chasing this.
Spaceinvader
Love the 17pdr rounds. I got myself an APDS-T projectile but need a casing. Not an easy thing to find in Canada!
Major General Waffenamt Posted February 18, 2016 Major General Share Posted February 18, 2016 Keep looking mate,as you boys most certainly used them. I bet the shipping costs would be astronomical from Europe.

It's a controversial pic, the right hand bullet is fired, the left hand one unfired. so it's likely the left jand round was in an ammo pouch when struck.
