Major General Bil4338 Posted May 21, 2016 Major General Share Posted May 21, 2016 Right, you 'orrible lot! anyone seen anything like these web straps before, and if so, what were they used for? are they rigger adapted normal braces or what? Notice the end caps are not eyeletted but riveted, which makes me think they've been a semi-official adaptation.also the 'normal' eyelets are somewhat flattened out.no ink stamps on them either... thoughts...?

Davejb
Well I,ve not seen anything like these before and I had loads of 37 pattern gear at one time, and still have some pouches, belts, water bottles, straps and map cases , but these have me beat, they have to be some form of shoulder straps, perhaps for a version of the back pack, or could they be for women?? Guest Fred Karno's Army
They look very similar to the Commando rucksack straps . Edited May 22, 2016 by Fred Karno's Army
