Libertesoe Posted June 1, 2016 Share Posted June 1, 2016 Anyone see the story about the Lorenz machine turning up in an old dears shed......a buff from Bletchley clocked it advertised as a teleprinter and for £9.50. Two went down to view.Low and behold it was the main part of a Lorenz machine. They are currently examining it and have found Eagle stamps and an SS Key. One paper and the BBC quoted the guy's as saying " how much is it again "..,,,,," £9.50....Here's £10...just keep the change " Didn't appreciate that, if it's true. Most were destroyed. There are only four known examples in the world. So I would say it was rare.
