Steve T
One Sunday I got a text off my brother, (who lives in Skegness). He keeps an eye out for WW2 stuff for me and sent me a picture of something he'd found. I recognised it as a Larkspur mouthpiece and earphones. Normally I wouldn't have bothered, but there was a chance they were WW2 vintage so I texted back to ask how much. £5 came the reply. I obviously told him to grab them and picked them up off him a few weeks later. The handset does indeed appear to be post war, but the headphones seemed older. I checked but couldn't find any marks on them so tried to put them on my head. They wouldn't fit so I went to adjust the strap. There, underneath the strap, was a stamp and date. 1940!!! Awesome! They were WW2 vintage after all
