Manu Della Valle
I don't know whether it's a mistake on behalf of MFH or it it was done on purpose in order to have a somewhat "adjustable" set-up!Whatever the case 6mm were too much, therefore I've filed the rear screws down to 4,7mm in order to have a sorta "snug" fit of the rear wheels to the uprights. There's a bit of "play" between the uprights and the suspension braces which iwill be enough to allow for a rather precise alignement/camber/toe-in/toe-out/whatever.In case the rear tires wouldn't touch the ground evenly that'll be easy solved by screwing or unscrewing the center screws...easy! Manu Della Valle
A little update! The front suspension is just about finished. The "dusting" is much more less noticeable (the flash makes it look overdone!) and the scoops are not "rough"...blame it on my total lack of photographic skills, gents! The wheels on the race cars were kept clean and checked for hairline crackings, dents and all kind of stuff that would have caused a failure but weren't as immaculate as the one you can see on a "Clienti" car, they're were pleasantly "beaten up" and I hope mine will reasonably look realistic for a "raced" machine! The brake assemblies may not be 100% accurate but they'll be hidden inside the front rims.....I'm currently taking notes in order to build a much more detailed and accurate T4! Manu Della Valle
Finally, here she is on all four and I must admit that it's nothing to write home about being full of mistakes and inaccuracies, but it's been a very good learning exercise so far.A lot of details have till to be added (read cables, hoses, lines, pipes aso),not to speak of the rear wing, that I'll cast in resin to cut on weight, but she starts to look like a real F1 now! Apart from the odd added detail this will be my last update until the body and rear wings will be ready,I don't want to take too much place on the bandwidth but,on the other hand,is a pleasure to post pictures that will help other fellow modellers wishing to build a similar kit, that's why I'm posting more than necessary and surely not to "show off"! Ciao by now Manu
