Normally I would say that nothing should be cleaned unless theres a danger of rust eating deeper into the metal, this is surface rust but I can see some slight pitting begining, you could get this removed professionally from a metal works . A light sizel mop polish can do wonders without eating into the metal, I did this with two rusting Ghurka knives which I found in a junk shop, they are now gleaming as they should be and very attractive Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
