Help indentifing this badge

Recommended Posts

Well, my intuition told me that this would be British, but I am not sure!

Have this badge already a long time in my collection, but never put real effort in it to indentify it.

Does any of you guys recognize it?

The Kings  crown with crowned Lion on top is a Brigadiers or Colonels Badge, during the reign of King George V, WW1 and George VI ,now a Queens crown

Thanks @Davejb!

So if I understand correct it is a WW1 period badge, or at least pre-WW2 and was worn by a Brigadier or Colonel on his cap.

Right?

All I could find were the embroided versions.
Does any one know about the metal version like I have ?
