Guest Fred Karno's Army Posted August 29, 2016 Share Posted August 29, 2016 Guys can anyone provide me with any photographic evidence of any British officers carrying a C96 during WW1 ?.I am aware of use during the Boer war and others but apart from the usual formal,posing 'captured items / souvenirs' photographs can anyone provide me with this ?. Guest Fred Karno's Army Posted August 29, 2016 Share Posted August 29, 2016 (edited) The reason I am asking is that I am working on completing a mannequin as a british officer on the western front circa 1917 and wondered about slinging the c96 on the Sam Browne set,otherwise I am going to complete it as closely resembling Churchill as I can,French lid and all .
