TomChance
I’m pretty excited about acquiring my 1st Mauser (Of any kind)! This is a WWII-era, Mauser HSc (#908194). It bears “Eagle/N” proof marks on the right side of the trigger guard, the right side of the slide & on the right side of the barrel. The left trigger guard shows an “Eagle/L” Police acceptance stamp. The left side of the slide shows the simpler, late-war Mauser logo and the Mauser/Oberndorf slide legend with the three-line interruption between the model & caliber designations. The magazine’s floor plate shows the earlier, detailed version of the Mauser logo. This pistol retains about 70-75% of its original blue finish and the bore is perfect!
