Guys,

a few more pictures of our time in Bergen by Belsen. I was young and stupid and did start to collect back then too but I was too young and stupid to link where we were stationed to the political sensitivity that would not be tolerated today! My interest then and now was in inanimate historical objects and as such it was tolerated by the chain of command for what it was, bare in mind my grandad died of wounds from Dunkirk and my great uncle was killed in the Atlantic when sunk by a U-Boat. Other family member's survived the war. If you experience discomfort with the picture of me with my 'booty swastika flag then you take it out of context by a lot. I will make no further excuse for my interest in this historical period. It is history!
