Manu Della Valle Posted March 6, 2016 Share Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) This is a rare bird indeed!It's a pair of LW Gebirgshosen (Mountain Trousers) identical to the WH-issue ones but made of Blaugrau Dickerstoff. The Luftwaffe had no true Gebirgs Division but had Gebirgs Dienst (Mountain Service) Units which supplied air defense to Heer GJ units. The 73 Leichte Flak Batterie (Luftwaffe) was part of the 5th Mountain Division and surrendered to the US troops near Turin,where these trousers come from;early-War trousers still in use to the very last days!
