Brian Bridger Posted August 25, 2023 Share Posted August 25, 2023 Hi All Picked up these swords at an auction. Pre ww2 but dont know what era they are from. Curved one has all the engraving on it. Edge of the blade looks like the fellows name and city, dont know what is etched on the blade. A bit of rust, anyone have any thoughts on cleaning this up or is it best to leave it alone? was thinking a fine steel wool and wd-40 but dont want to scratch it up. All replies appreciated.
