Manu Della Valle Posted March 14, 2016 Author Share Posted March 14, 2016 They made a lot of Bakelite items to save on metals,many tanks and subs had the boxes for ammo and batteries made of this stuff for example!There's a very interesting book on WW2 German Bakelite items published by Schiffer!
