Davejb Posted March 24, 2016 Share Posted March 24, 2016 Well Kelvin & Hughes did make this type of compass along with other maritime items, but I have a feeling this one is a very elaborate replica,or been messed with, all the original compasses are exactly the same as this one as far as I can see except for two things, the crown and the screws On original ones the two outside arms of the crown have 4 impressed "jewels", this one has 3 and on good ones the screws are flush with the metal or deeper, the one shown has different types of screws, at least one is rounded, others appear proud of the metal and damaged Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
