DAK D
This is going to be my DAK tropical set up, when I get myself a good mannequin, all the items are original and salty, just how I like them. The ankle boots are the full second pattern version and very hard to find. The straight leg trousers were made by LAGO SCHLESIEN BRESLAU and the depot stamp date is 1942, these trousers are made in the lower grade tropical twill, but have seen heavy use. Interestingly this firm made Heer tropical uniform items in 1940. I don't need the "A" frame or "Y" straps for this set up, but I thought i would post the photo anyway D Edited September 21, 2016 by DAK D

DAK D
Hi All, The mannequin turned up today so i did some quick photos and I am happy with results. I think it's time to get some batteries for my camera and see if i can do some better shots than I have with my iphone. DAK D
Thanks @Lenny and @Ham & Jam The mannequin came from Historia mannequins and I think it's really good value for the price. http://www.historiamannequin.com/en/2-male-mannequin D Edited April 6, 2016 by DAK D
Manu Della Valle
The mannequin is very realistic...may I suggest you to dress it up with a saltier belt and y straps? That would really turn a masterpiece into a 1000000% "Afrikaner"! I LOVE the cap,the tunic, the trousers and the lowboots but the belt is too new IMO!I'm telling you because I'm confident that since you must have one hell of a collection you surely have both mint and salty items! It's not a critic Dermot, just s suggestion because you're a little step from having the outfit of the year!AMAZING set, bro! Cheers Manu Edited April 6, 2016 by Manu Della Valle

Davejb
That is one hell of a grand display, its museum quality, the Mannequin adds to it very nicely, any chance of an MP40 or a KAR on his shoulder, he,s a perfect stair guard
